* Compliance with standards

[Print-friendly version]

TALSS ensures the integration of compliance to relevant and regularly reviewed standards and promotes best practice to QUT partners and clients.

Accessibility

  • Accessible design enables all staff and students to quickly, easily and, perhaps more importantly, independently access information and services. TALSS produced websites and OLT meet Priority 1 W3C Accessibility Guidelines and wherever possible, exceed these standards. The OLT System also provides prompts and aids for website administrators to add accessible content to their web pages.
  • Resources for an Accessible Web has information and resources for you to understand accessibility issues, plan, create and test for accessibility, as well as user tools and tips.

CRICOS Guide

  • The Cricos Guide will help you understand and implement the requirements of the ESOS Act.

Information Standards

QUT is required to conform to a series of Information Standards as established by the State Government. Internal Audit is intimately involved in the implementation of and adherence to these standards. Where relevant to TALSS, a senior manager or service manager has been identified as the authoritative source.
